Good Old Family Favourite
What a simple and easy to make wholesome treat... Leanne's Oatmeal Crunchies are a family favourite and great as a quick snack when you're on the run or spoil the kids with one or two of these in their lunch packs.

Ingredients :
Makes 12-16 cookies

30 mins

Cooking time 30mins

For the crunchies
155g   Margarine or Butter
15ml    Gum Tree Apiary's Gourmet Honey
10ml    Bicarbonate of soda
200ml  Flour
200ml  Sugar
200ml  Dessicated Coconut
400ml  Rolled Oats
125ml  Peanuts, Mixed Nuts or Seeds
Method :

1. Place all dry ingredients into a large bowl

2. Melt the Margarine or Butter with the Gum Tree Apiary Honey

3. Dissolve the Bicarbonate of Soda in a little milk and add to the melted Margarine or Butter and Gum Tree Apiary Honey

4. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon

5. Press into a baking tray

6. Bake at 160°C for 30 minutes

7. Cut into squares and allow to cool before removing from baking tray.

Great as a mid-morning 'pick me upper' or something to snack on
if you're on the go!
